Laurie participates in all facets of Higher Talent’s executive search process and has experience recruiting for a wide range of organizations. With more than 15 years in healthcare consulting and management, Laurie offers a valuable perspective to our nonprofit clients. She is passionate about helping nonprofits work effectively and stay on mission.  Since she started working for Higher Talent, Inc. in 2013, Laurie has served a wide variety of clients including public and private universities, a digital marketing agency, medical centers, arts organizations, environmental organizations, and nonprofit research groups.  Samples of her placements include:

Laurie began her career as a management consultant at a leading healthcare firm. As a senior administrator at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital and Georgetown University Medical Center, she was responsible for human resources and recruitment, financial and strategic planning, and operations improvement. As an independent consultant, Laurie has worked for Georgetown University Medical Center and Capital Link and has researched funding opportunities and written grant proposals for The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health.

In addition to her professional experience, Laurie is an active community leader and a long-standing board member of a foundation that funds community-based arts and precollegiate education programs.
