Dr. Jeff Doyle, a native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, has over 25 years experience working in colleges, universities, and the federal government. He has overseen over 100 searches during his leadership as a Director, Assistant Vice President, and Dean at Appalachian State University, Shenandoah University, and Baylor University, respectively. He takes pride in on-boarding, coaching, and mentoring new hires.
He has led strategic and operational planning for departments, management for multi-million dollar projects, data collection and assessment for divisional research, student engagement and retention initiatives with a significant impact on student success, and built collaborative partnerships with colleagues in order to strengthen institutional efficiency and effectiveness.
Jeff has taught organizational behavior and leadership courses at multiple departments and universities in addition to teaching graduate courses in business, finance, administration, and organization of universities.
Jeff has presented over 70 times at state, regional and national conferences and published 25 articles in multiple magazines and peer-reviewed professional journals. Jeff has also served on two regional institutional accreditation visits.
Jeff’s early career allowed him to work for Florida State University, Lynchburg College, Eastern Mennonite University, and the Federal Executive Institute.
Jeff is a reading mentor at an under-performing urban elementary school. He enjoys working out, spending time with his family, and serving his church in Waco, Texas.
