Heidi is the Chief Executive Officer of Texas Partners for Philanthropy — a public and private partnership with corporations, state/federal government, and higher education in the Life-Health Sciences sectors and beyond.

Heidi brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in business development, public and private partnerships, economic development, and government and industry relations. This broad perspective allows her to access a variety of organizations.  She is especially effective at engaging people and developing talent.

Heidi’s leadership has advanced academia, industry, and non-profit organizations.  Her expertise provides an exceptional perspective to Higher Talent.

Heidi served as the Vice President for Business Development at the Idaho Technology Council where she worked across the state, region, and nation to help companies start, grow, and thrive.  She grew the ITC ecosystem by reaching out to new and existing companies, universities, community colleges, national laboratories, and other organizations.

Prior to joining the ITC, Heidi served as Director for Advancement for Strategic University Initiatives, Arts, and Letters at Idaho State University, and previously, she served as adjunct faculty, Director/Corporate and External Relations at Washington State University.

Heidi’s passion is to help individuals and organizations succeed. Heidi was honored as one of the Idaho Business Review Women of the Year, and currently sits on several Board of Directors.  Heidi serves as an International Adjudicator for the Biotechnology Institute, Bio Innovation Organization and Johnson & Johnson’s BioGENEius International Challenge.  She is a BioGENEius Women Innovators Mentor at the annual Biotechnology Innovation Organization International Convention.

Heidi is a professional orchestra conductor and clinician throughout the nation and is published with the Leblanc Bell Quarterly Educator’s Viewpoint and Conn Selmer’s Keynotes.  She served as the Maestro for the Pullman Civic Ensemble for 20 years, and a Guest Conductor of the Royal Hawaiian Ensemble.
